Ascend Networks LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates DailyPrices (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
2. Information We Collect
Customer account information
- Name, email address, phone number, company name, and business address (provided during demo request and onboarding).
- Authentication credentials (passwords, hashed and salted).
- Billing information (bank reference, payment dates, amounts).
Customer data
- Customer's customers (recipient names, emails, addresses, margins, county, custom fields).
- Daily fuel prices entered into the system.
- Email delivery logs (sent, failed, bounced).
- Historical pricing batches.
Technical information
- IP addresses, browser type, device information.
- Login timestamps and audit logs.
- Usage patterns within the application.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide and maintain the Service.
- Process subscription billing.
- Send service notifications and respond to support requests.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms.
- Comply with legal obligations.
- Improve the Service in aggregate, anonymized form.
We do not use customer data to:
- Sell to third parties.
- Send marketing emails to customer's customers.
- Train AI or machine learning models.
4. Service Providers (Sub-processors)
We use these third parties to operate the Service:
- Neon Inc., database hosting.
- AWS Simple Email Service, email delivery.
- Render Inc., application hosting.
- Cloudflare, DNS and security.
Each is contractually bound to protect customer data and use it only to provide their services to us.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Export your data.
- Object to or restrict processing.

7. Data Retention
- Active customer data: retained for the duration of subscription plus 30 days.
- Cancelled customer data: deleted within 30 days of termination unless legal retention requires otherwise.
- Audit logs: retained for 12 months.
- Backups: retained for 30 days.
8. Security
- All data transmission encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher.
- Passwords stored using industry-standard hashing (scrypt).
- Access to customer data restricted to authorized personnel.
- Regular security reviews.
No system is perfectly secure. We do not warrant that customer data will not be compromised, but we take reasonable measures to protect it.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
10. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. By using the Service, users outside the US consent to the transfer and processing of their information in the US.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated to customers. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
